Structures | Alair Recognized With a 2025 PRISM Award for Home Remodel

The end of the year means that award season is upon us and we’re honored to share that one of our recent projects has been recognized with a 2025 CHBA PRISM Award for Remodeled Home or Space ($2,000,000+) in Mount Pleasant’s Old Village.
The PRISM Awards, presented by the Charleston Home Builders Association, celebrate excellence in residential construction across the Lowcountry. For us, this recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects the level of care, collaboration, and craftsmanship that went into this home, from our team, partners, and clients.
A Thoughtful Approach to Remodeling in Old Village

Old Village is one of Mount Pleasant’s most established and storied neighborhoods. Remodeling here requires a careful balance. Homes need to honor the character of the area while meeting the expectations of modern living. That balance guided every decision on this project.
From the earliest planning conversations, the goal was clarity. We worked closely with the homeowners and design partners to understand how they lived in the space, what they wanted to preserve, and where the home needed to evolve. The result is a remodel that feels grounded in its setting, while functioning effortlessly for today.
This project is especially meaningful as it’s a testament to the level of creativity that can go into transforming an existing space into a completely refreshed home. As Mount Pleasant and Charleston continue to grow, more and more clients are choosing to remodel or renovate and we’re looking forward to more opportunities in 2026 to help shape these iconic communities.
If a remodel or renovation is on your 2026 to-do list, we’d love to start the conversation.
