Travis Anderson

Growing up in Minneapolis, I always had a natural interest in electronics and building.  While in college studying electrical engineering, computer science, and project management, I often did small construction projects for family and friends on the side.  As my experience in construction grew, I decided to make it my career.  I got my contractor’s license and started my own remodeling company, where I gained experience in project management as well as construction tasks such as demolition, framing, finish carpentry, and painting.  Through the work I did remodeling century-old homes with amazing character and fine finish details, I gained an appreciation for blending new spaces with the craftmanship and details of the original home.  Desiring more experience and new challenges, I later transitioned into building custom homes and luxury remodels.

In 2021, my wife and I moved to Mount Pleasant with our two young boys in search of a new adventure and a bit of an escape from cold winters.  As I acclimated to the area and started researching various builders, Structures stood out as a leader in the community.  Since joining the Structures team, I’ve come to appreciate the close integration of design, a team approach to getting things done, and the high quality of homes in our portfolio.  My family and I love the Charleston area and are actively exploring all that the Lowcountry has to offer.  We look forward to the many more years to come here.
