Dave Hargis

As a kid growing up in Virginia, I was constantly changing my mind on what I wanted to be when I grew up. It spanned from being a drummer in a band to a veterinarian. It wasn’t until one summer while attending Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) that it hit me. I remember working as a laborer on a construction site one summer while watching the project manager arrive and guide everyone in the right direction. I thought to myself, “I want to be that guy one day.” And here I am! I enjoy many different aspects of the building process from finish carpentry to architectural & interior design but I really appreciate being able to see the finished product. I take great pride in driving schedules, executing details, being budget conscious and delivering exceptional quality but most importantly in guiding clients through the process of building a home. I work with an extremely talented group of people who all share a similar passion for their careers. I feel very lucky to build homes for people and to work with a group like Structures Building Company!
